I&#039;m Evert, a young advisor and youth engagement advocate. I&#039;m a 20-year-old from Tartu. For me, the most important thing is that young people have a voice, space, and courage to speak out on issues that truly concern us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">My journey to this point has begun with personal experience. I have experienced in my own life how much it can mean when someone truly listens and understands you, but also what happens when that is not the case. It is this knowledge that has shaped my desire to support other young people \u2013 to <strong>they would know they were not alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">I have shared my story at many conferences, on many panels and discussions, and I continue to do so without the shame that often accompanies difficult experiences. These are the moments when I realize how powerful honesty and vulnerability can be. My goal is not just to talk about the hardships, but <strong>to show how experiences can become a source of strength and what changes are needed in the systems that affect young people.<\/strong> I really like the idea that young people&#039;s voices should be heard not only in discussions aimed at them, but also in decisions that shape the entire society. In MT\u00dc Sa Suudad activities, I contribute to advising young people and promoting a culture of discussion. I help create an environment where every young person can boldly express their thoughts, learn from their experiences and support others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">I am convinced that every young person does not need to be saved, but rather the opportunity for someone to really listen to them and believe in them. I believe that the opinion of young people is not just an extra, but an important part of the decision-making process. I wish that society would not talk about young people, but <strong>with young people<\/strong>, because that&#039;s when real change happens.
