My choice of profession has been strongly influenced by my personal experiences as a child and young person, including living with post-traumatic stress disorder. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how important it is for adults to receive help, support and understanding at the right time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">I believe that every child and young person deserves a safe and caring environment where they are listened to and supported without judgment. A sincere desire to understand and truly be there for a child or young person can be a powerful force on the path to recovery and a better tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">As a world-changer, I carry within me the dream that every child MUST have at least one supportive and safe adult by their side as they grow up.
