I believe that sometimes just one person who really listens is enough for a young person to feel noticed and cared for.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">It is important to me that no young person is defined by their diagnosis. A diagnosis may be part of someone&#039;s story, but it is not who they truly are. At the end of the day, we are all human beings \u2013 with our own experiences, strengths and dreams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px;line-height:1.7;margin:0 0 16px\">I believe that the voice of the young person must be heard in the discussions and decisions that affect their lives.
