Why do I participate in NGO activities?

Because I believe in the power of MTÜ Sa Suudad to change mindsets and create positive change. Having been a young person myself, whose emotions were up and down and for whom words were no longer enough, I know that with the help of consistency and patience, things get better. Community support is crucial: my own mother tongue teacher at primary school was the only one who actually asked how I was doing. If others noticed, they didn't show it, and life went on as usual. However, if I had received support earlier, I would probably not have done so many unsafe and self-destructive activities. Therefore, there was absolutely no question whether I would want to get involved in the work of the NGO: the answer is yes.

I also know that Enelis is passionate about young people and his motivation to create a better future inspires me to contribute. His empathy, enthusiasm and energy to listen to young people's messages, share them and take them to decision-makers is inspiring. It is this kind of dedication that shows that each of us can make our voices heard and every action counted to create change.

We have so much to learn from young people: we listen to their ideas and understand their perspective, because young people themselves know how to help themselves, if only given the opportunity.

I have completed training in experiential counseling and am currently practicing as an experiential counselor. I support people with anxiety, ADHD, coping with addiction, grief, and other life challenges. It is important to me to create a safe and supportive space where you can talk without judgment or pressure.
