Would you like training on youth risk behavior?
MTÜ Sa Suudad offers practical and meaningful training to help you better understand young people whose behaviour may be challenging, worrying or risky. Our training is designed for anyone – e.g. teachers, support workers, parents, youth workers, social workers, legal professionals and healthcare professionals – who want to improve their knowledge and skills to build trusting relationships with young people and provide them with more effective support.

We can provide training on topics such as:
- age and developmental characteristics of young people
- Causes of risk behavior and ways of manifestation
- how to notice and intervene in a supportive way
- how to establish contact, including when a young person seems withdrawn or confrontational
- support options for young people who engage in risky behavior
- networking
- case management
- conflict resolution in a way that is respectful and supportive of the parties
- how to take care of yourself
and much more :)
We use many active learning methods in our trainings. Theory, including sharing of experiences or practices by trainers and young experts, is intertwined with open discussions, various group exercises, self-reflection, and, if necessary, energy-boosting games.

I listened to Lisett and Evert talk about their experience. They bravely and honestly opened up about what they felt and thought inside during difficult moments, and what the adults in their lives were doing wrong at that time.
I believe that absolutely every parent would recognize themselves and their behavior, as well as their child, in these descriptions to some extent. How eye-opening it was: seeing the potential reasons behind a behavior and understanding what labeling, ignoring, and not being present can lead to.
Risky behavior among young people is not an issue for “bad” children or “poor” families, but can affect anyone. Therefore, every parent should want Lisett or Evert to help them better understand their child, as well as society at large.
We believe that every young person deserves understanding, support and the opportunity to grow, even (and especially) when their behaviour presents challenges. And we believe that you can understand, listen and support young people! Sometimes we need additional skills through training or advice to do this.
Together, we create an environment where every young person can feel seen and cared for.
