My name is Maria. I have a bachelor's degree in special education from Tallinn University and am currently pursuing a master's degree in social design from the Estonian Academy of Arts. I currently work mainly in the social field, specifically in special care, and I also work partly in a rehabilitation team. In my work, I deal with people throughout their entire life span, i.e. I work with children, young people and adults.
Why am I here? The first answer that comes to mind is that I want to change the world. I want systems and services to truly support those they are designed for. I want everyone's voice to be heard and everyone to be seen, because there is immense potential and value hidden within every person. MTÜ Sa Suudad is, in my opinion, exactly what I described above. They are changing the world and I am happy to be part of this journey.
