MTÜ Sa Suudad Youth Council

There are young people who only know the system by heart.
And there are those who have experienced it themselves.

If you are among the latter, then your view is what needs to be heard.

The Youth Council brings you together:

  • with representatives of the legal system
  • with social workers and decision-makers
  • with national and local leaders

Youth Council members are selected through a nomination process and the group consists of 10-15 young people. Due to the high level of interest, not all applicants may be selected this time.

This isn't just a discussion - it's an opportunity to talk honestly about what really works and what doesn't.

What is the Youth Council?

The goal of the MTÜ Sa Suudad Youth Council is to provide a safe and supported space where young people can share their experiences, express their opinions, and make suggestions that help shape a more child- and youth-friendly society.Read more..

For example: psychologist, psychiatrist, school counselor, experiential counselor, etc.
For example: legal system – police, prosecutor; social system – foster care, child welfare specialist; medical system – mental health specialists, etc.
Please let us know if we didn't ask about something important to you, if you need help introducing the council to parents, or if you are simply very excited about the start of the activities.
