The exhibition brings to the viewer stories of children and young people whose behavior is often rooted in trauma, fear, exclusion and lack of belonging. It is an exhibition about noticing – about what happens when a child is left alone, and about what a warm look, trust and sincere presence of a person can change.
„"Hold me close" is part of the Kumu Courtyard program launched on the occasion of Kumu's 20th anniversary and is free for everyone.

The opening program is part of the public program of the exhibition "Hold Me Tight. Monument to Survival".
